This follows a thorough creative and media agency review process that began in mid 2009.

With the international media element managed through MEC's experienced Global Solutions team in Singapore, the brief will cover key markets indentified by EDB in North America, Europe and Asia.

"To be an effective partner on this client account, the media agency needs to understand the C-suite communication fundamentals in the B-to-B context and ensure an efficient management of multi-market businesses through its global network," advised David Beal, Senior Manager, MEC's Global Solutions. "We are very proud that MEC was able to secure the win and will be part of the team that works with EDB in shaping Singapore's economic future."

MEC will partner with EDB's appointed creative agency, JWT, in developing this global account.

"Engaging the C-suite is a challenge that requires an idea so big that it spills outside the boundaries of traditional advertising," said Angus Fraser, JWT Singapore Managing Director. "EDB is encouraging us to embrace new, thought-provoking ideas that do just that."

EDB is the lead government agency responsible for planning and executing strategies to enhance Singapore's position as a global business centre and grow the Singapore economy. They dream, design and deliver solutions that create value for investors and companies in Singapore.  In so doing, they generate economic opportunities and jobs for the people of Singapore; and help shape Singapore's economic future. EDB has offices in many financial and business capitals across Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia.
